Lessons, Laughs & Fresh Blooms Dear Flower Friends, Spring always brings a mix of nostalgia and new beginnings, and this weekend, I had one of those full-circle moments. I was back in my hometown for a funeral when, through the gate of the reception area, walked someone I hadn’t seen in 25+ years—but I knew immediately. Without hesitation, I yelled, “WWWAAAAAAAAALLLLLYYYYY!"

Wally and I.... 25 years later...
Wally was that teacher for me—the one who makes a difference, who sticks with you long after you leave their classroom. Seeing him again? Instant tears. We caught up, I told him about the farm (though in my nervous excitement, I may have blurted out that we grow peonies as annuals…which, spoiler alert, they aren’t annuals and any self-respecting flower farmer would know that). In classic Wally fashion, when I went to show him a picture of my grandson, his response was a dry "I don’t care." 😂 So what does this have to do with the farm? Well, just like those moments that stick with us forever, farming is a long game. The things we plant today, the lessons we learn, the hard work we put in—it all comes back around, sometimes in ways we never expect. 🌿 April on the Farm: * We are planting 50 lavender and eucalyptus—long-term beauties in the making. * Our peonies are coming to life (perennials, Wally, I swear I know!). * Snapdragons are growing daily, and even the lisianthus are starting to emerge! * We are waging war on weeds, and honestly, some days it feels like they’re winning. Great soil is both a blessing and a curse! 💐 In Season Now: Our ranunculus are here and will be available in bouquets at the flower stand starting this Saturday! 🌸 A Sneak Peek: Mother’s Day is around the corner, and we’re thinking about offering a pre-order option to make sure Mom gets the freshest, most beautiful blooms. More details coming soon! Thank you for being part of this journey—through all the seasons, all the weeds, and all the full-circle moments. See you at the flower stand! Aurora
